Rezayat Procoat specializes in the production of fusion-bonded epoxy coated reinforcing bars (FBECR) that are widely used in the construction & infrastructure industry (buildings, highway bridges, culverts, tunnels, etc.). Epoxy powder is a type of polymer coating that serves as a barrier between steel and corrosion agents found in the surrounding environment such as moisture, chloride and other industrial chemicals. Reinforcing bars coated with epoxy powder are better protected from corrosion and are more durable, thus expanding the lifespan of buildings and structures. Our current production capacity is 100,000 tons per year of FBECR. We have in-house facilities to fabricate (cut and bent) coated steel bars in accordance with original structural drawings.
The coating is applied according to ASTM A775 standards to deformed ASTM A615 grade 60 rebars of 12 meters in length and 08 to 40 mm. in diameter.
Procoat is an approved supplier of FBECR to several large entities in Saudi Arabia such as Saudi Aramco, the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), Saudi Electric Company (SEC) Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), the Royal Commissions of Jubail and Yanbu as well as most of the government ministries.
Our rebars have been widely used throughout Saudi Arabia on several major industrial and commercial projects. Overseas, Rezayat Procoat rebars have been used at the United States Embassy in the Philippines; the Qatar Embassy in Sudan; gas plants in Alexandria, Egypt; Al Moaiad Tower, Bahrain; Port of Aden, Yemen; and Kuwait University in Shuwaikh.
